We left very early to make it to the ferry for Catalina Island. On the way out there, a pod of dolphins swim about a stone’s throw from our boat. A glass bottom boat tour allows us to see some of the ocean life. Part of the excursion also included a bus ride from our landing point across the hilly section to arrive at Avalon.
